Professor Yuming Fu is a Vice Dean for research at the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore. His research in the areas of urban economics, real estate market analysis, and urban policies has been published in leading international academic journals such as American Economic Review, Journal of Urban Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Real Estate Economics, and Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics. He is a fellow of Weimer School of Advanced Studies in Real Estate and Land Economics, Maury Seldin Advanced Studies Institute, USA. He serves on the board of directors of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) and Asia Real Estate Society (AsRES). He is an editorial board member of the AREUEA's flagship journal, Real Estate Economics. He obtained his PhD from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and has taught previously at the City University of Hong Kong and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
